Power MathsAt Charnwood Primary school, we use the Power Maths teaching tool. Power Maths is structured to help teach children the mathematical concepts for longer and to go deeper. For each year group, the curriculum strands have been broken down into core concepts. These are taught in blocks of lessons so children are given sufficient time to develop a deeper and sustainable understanding.
Times Tables Rock Stars is a carefully sequenced programme of daily times tables practice. Each child has their own login and password. It is very important that children are confident and fluent in their times tables.
